We understand that time is of great importance in today’s construction setting and can be a principal consideration in choosing project participators. Caldera Design Group works with all construction partners on a project and often works with both the owner and the fire protection contractor on the same project. We have the capability to supply both the Bid Documents and the Specifications to the owner. These same documents can also be turned into the construction drawings for the installation contractor. Because the design has already been completed, the installation contractor can secure his cost by pre-ordering the materials and starting the installation as soon as the approval drawings have been obtained.
Another important benefit to including Caldera Design Group early on in a project’s design is that many possible and usually costly conflicts are recognized swiftly and resolved while the project is still in development. Our ability to provide detailed fire protection drawings to the bidding contractors creates a equal bidding environment and takes the guess work out of what needs to be installed. The elimination of any uncertainty in the bid drawings will result in much closer bid results while the detailed drawings effectively eliminates potential extras to the contract.
